Submission guidelines

Two types of submissions are expected: 

1. Technical papers: Technical papers should present original contributions to the software testing research area up to 10 pages, including all figures, references and appendices.

2. Experience reports: Experience reports should describe examples of practical usage of software testing approaches in the industry, emphasizing results obtained and lessons learned. The reports must not have been published previously, however, they are not required to present original contributions. Experience reports must contain up to 6 pages, including all figures, references and appendices.

The papers can be written either in Portuguese or in English and will be  reviewed by three workshop PC members,  considering the following criteria: adequacy to workshop scope, relevance, technical soundness and originality. 

Papers should state clearly their relation to previous work, mainly to previous published work of the own authors. Theoretical papers should emphasize the contribution to the practice. Papers on experimental studies should describe the use of the methods to analyse qualitatively and quantitatively their results, including a link for the data repository of the experiment. 

Submissions must be formatted according to the SBC template ( SBC template)

All submissions should be sent electronically via JEMS system until the deadline for submission. One of the authors must present the paper at the workshop.
